Why should you think about a facebook marketing strategies? Because just about everybody is on facebook… Theres a good chance that your friends, family, and most importantly your potential team members and customers are right there waiting for you to connect with them.

The primary focus when thinking about facebook marketing strategies should be how to engage customers from a social standpoint rather than just marketing your company or products. What is to be remembered is that when most people log into facebook it’s to kick back and take a load off. Maybe to catch up with friends or to check on family.

So if your main goal is just to your network marketing company without building the relationships and being social, these facebook marketing strategies won’t be nearly as effective for you.

Make Your Facebook Profile More Inviting

I have seen some network marketers using facebook to market their business but they have a very unattractive facebook profile. The first thing a person looks at when deciding whether or not to interact with you on facebook is your profile picture. Never use a company logo or a picture of your product for your profile picture. This does not attract people it just repels them. Although you may love your product most people could probably care less.

Fill out your bio so people potential connections can read more about you and what you are about. Remember you profile does not have totally professional. People want to see that you are a real person like they are.

Create A Fanpage

Creating a fanpage can give you the opportunity to connect with your target market on a more business level. With that being said, you should still engage fans of your fanpage from a social level by interacting with them and posting inviting content. As a facebook marketing strategy your fanpage should be more about what you have to offer and how it may benefits your fans.

There are alot of online mlm marketing systems that have plug and play fanpages. Some systems that include fanpages with cool graphics and optin boxes that allow you to build your list as well as gain more “likes” to your fanpage.

Use Facebook Ads

Probably my favorite of all facebook marketing strategies…

You can use facebook ads to promote to just about any website on the internet. One way I use this facebook marketing strategy is to drive more traffic to my facebook fanpage to gain more “likes”.

Create Facebook Notes

Facebook notes are little pieces of content that you can write on facebook and share on your facebook wall. Your notes can be about anything but for the purpose of marketing, you want to create relevant content for your notes. The good thing about notes is that they are highly searchable by Google.

This means that you can search engine optimize a facebook note just as you would a blog post or article. Because the note is optimzed it will show up whenever someone goes searching for whatever your note is about.

You should treat a facebook note just like a piece of content you were going to promote with article marketing. This means getting backlinks to the note until you can get it ranked on page one of Google.
